Her Journey
Preserving the ranchera tradition
Born in the center of Mexico, Guanajuato, and growing up with the melodies of her grandfather, an opera singer, Abby has dedicated her life to preserving the raw emotional power of traditional Mexican folk music. Her performances bridge generations, carrying stories of love, longing, and celebration.
Throughout her career, Abby has won significant awards like the El Sol de Oro award among the hearts of her audience. Abby has performed renowned presentations to give tribute to the composer Jose Alfredo Jimenez at the prestigious Juarez theatre and to perform the last tribute in life to Jose Jose.
Abby's charisma and talent led her to become the tequila image of the 'Voices of Corralejo' program and accomplish presentations at Televisa Bajio, radio stations, and cultural, corporate and private events up to the present time.
Now based in Toronto, she shares this living heritage with audiences across Ontario, adapting her powerful vocal style for both grand festival stages and intimate family gatherings.
